Ret0bright for newbies

I've been intrigued by Ret0bright for some time. This magic cooking recipe makes your old yellowed plastic computers like new again. It is not very clear what the consequences of the treatment are, since it involve chemical reactions and interactions with light and oxygen. The recipe is a bit complex though, but I found a simpler version: just use oxidant cream that professional hairdressers use.

For instance: Ducastel Oxidant Cream 40 volumes.

The cream is already, well, creamy and can be carefully spread on the yellowed plastic. Normally you would need a UV lamp to help with the process, but I found that half a day in bright sun has the same effect under my latitude.

It really works quite well, but like previously said, effects on the long run are unknown.
